Privacy Policy

Korea Worker (developed and operated by Mai Huy Quang) is committed to protecting your privacy. This document explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our app.

By using Korea Worker, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account: Email, display name, profile photo (via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In)
• Profile: Region in Korea where you live (1 of 17 provinces), preferred language (1 of 10 languages), bio, status
• Payroll and timesheet data: Working hours, base salary, overtime, holiday pay — synced to your account
• Messages and posts: Text, photos, videos, voice messages you send in community (17 provinces) and 1-on-1 chats
• Job listings: Title, description, company, salary, contact info when you post a job
• Reports: When you report violating content, we save the reason + snapshot of content at the time of report

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location (GPS): ONLY WHEN you actively tap "Clock-in / Clock-out" — to verify presence at workplace. The app does NOT track location continuously
• Device identifiers: Device ID, IDFA (iOS) — collected only after you consent via App Tracking Transparency popup (section 10)
• FCM token: For sending push notifications
• Diagnostics: Crash reports, network errors — does NOT contain message content

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core features: payroll calculation per Korean labor law 2026, GPS attendance, regional community chat (17 provinces), 1-on-1 messaging, job posting, Excel/PDF export
• User authentication and account security
• Send push notifications about new messages, friend requests, admin alerts
• Display ads (via Unity LevelPlay) — you can opt out of tracking
• Automatic content moderation (see section 4)
• Prevent fraud, scams, and abuse

3. Third-Party Sharing

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, Firestore Database (Seoul), Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions. View policy
• Google Cloud Vision API: Automatic image analysis to detect inappropriate content (nudity, violence). View policy
• Google Cloud Video Intelligence API: Automatic video analysis for explicit content detection
• Unity LevelPlay (Unity Ads): Display ads in the app. View policy
• Google Sign-In: User authentication. View policy
• Apple Sign-In: User authentication. View policy
• data.go.kr (Korean Public Data Portal): When fetching train schedules, the app sends selected station codes + date to retrieve public schedules. NO personal information is sent

3.1 Links to Official Booking Websites

When you tap "Open KORAIL/SRT/Kobus/Bustago/Tmoney", the app opens an in-app WebView or external browser to their official sites. The app does NOT collect or transmit your personal information to these third parties. Any booking transactions follow their own privacy policies:

3.2 AI Features (Pi tutor · live call translation · mock-exam grading)

Some features use third-party AI services for processing. The app sends only the content each feature needs:

• Pi tutor: the questions you type and the recording made while you hold the microphone button
• Live call translation: short segments of speech during a call — only while you have switched translation ON
• KIIP/TOPIK mock-exam grading: your written answers and the recording of spoken answers

Who it is sent to: OpenAI, L.L.C. (speech recognition, answer generation, translation) and Google Cloud Text-to-Speech (spoken audio of translations). No other party receives this data. Both providers act as processors on our behalf, provide protection equal to that described in this policy, and do not use this content to train their models under our API terms.

What is NOT sent: your phone number, email address, profile photo, location and friend list are never sent to these AI providers. Only the nickname and age you choose to enter in your Pi profile (if any) are included with your questions so Pi can address you properly.

Your permission: before the first use of any AI feature, the app shows a consent screen explaining what is sent, to whom and why, and asks you to agree. If you do not agree, the AI features stay off; everything else in the app keeps working. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings.

Retention: call subtitles are deleted from our servers as soon as the call ends; Pi voice recordings are stored on your own device and deleted automatically after 30 days; your chat history with Pi is stored in your account and is deleted when you delete your account.

4. Content Moderation (UGC)

Korea Worker enforces a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy toward objectionable content and abusive behavior. We implement multiple layers of protection:

4.1 Text Filter

• Automatic filtering of profanity, sexual content, scam keywords in 10 languages: Vietnamese, Korean, English, Thai, Indonesian, Filipino, Burmese, Khmer, Lao, Chinese
• Over 300 keywords checked before any post/message is published
• Detection of labor-scam patterns: advance transfer requests, fake visas, ID/passport requests

4.2 Image/Video AI Moderation

• Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch automatically analyzes EVERY uploaded image
• Google Cloud Video Intelligence analyzes EVERY uploaded video
• Your permission first: before your first photo or video upload, the app shows a screen stating what is sent (exactly the file you selected), who it is sent to (Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch and Video Intelligence), the purpose, and asks you to agree. If you do not agree you can keep using the app and post text normally - only photo and video posting is disabled. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings - Privacy.
• Content detected as adult/violence/racy at POSSIBLE+ level is automatically deleted within 5-30 seconds
• Users who upload violating content are auto-banned (7 days → 14 days → permanent)
• During moderation, images/videos display a "Pending review" placeholder for other users

4.3 Report and Block

• Report button on every post, comment, message, image/video, and profile — sent directly to the moderation team
• Block button on every profile — all content from the blocked user disappears from your feed/inbox immediately (under 1 second)

4.4 24-Hour Commitment

• Our moderation team commits to reviewing reports and acting on violating content/users within 24 hours
• Actions may include: content removal, temporary suspension (24h–7 days), permanent ban
• Users who receive ≥3 valid reports within 30 days are automatically suspended for 24 hours pending admin review

5. User Rights

• Right to access: View all your personal data in the app (Settings → Profile)
• Right to correct: Edit profile, name, avatar, region, language anytime
• Right to delete account: Settings → Account → "Delete account". All personal data permanently removed within 30 days. For Apple Sign-In users, the app also calls Apple's token revocation per new Apple guidelines
• Right to opt out of tracking: Choose "Don't Allow" on the ATT popup (see section 10) or iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking
• Right to data export: Contact minxukr@gmail.com to request export of all personal data (response within 30 days)
• Right to withdraw consent: Contact email above

6. Data Security

• HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
• Strict Firestore Security Rules with ownership checks — users can only read/write their own data (except admins)
• Storage Rules with size limits (10MB images, 50MB videos, 5MB avatars) and content-type validation
• API keys restricted by Bundle ID and SHA-1 fingerprint
• Passwords are NEVER stored on our servers (we use Google/Apple OAuth)
• Data at rest is encrypted via Google Cloud KMS

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Firestore data stored on Google Cloud asia-northeast3 region (Seoul, South Korea)
• Image/video files stored on Google Cloud Storage us-east1 region (Virginia, USA) — still protected by HTTPS/TLS
• Messages and photos retained throughout active account lifetime
• After account deletion: all personal data fully removed within 30 days
• Reports retained for moderation, anonymized from reporter after 90 days

8. Children (Under 18)

Korea Worker is NOT intended for users under 18. The app has an Age Gate requiring 18+ confirmation on first launch. If you are under 18, please do not use this app.

If we discover an account belonging to a child under 18, the account will be deleted immediately. Parents may contact us via email to request deletion of their child's account.

9. Device Permissions

• Camera: Take profile photos and record community videos. App does NOT use camera in the background
• Microphone: Record voice messages
• Photo Library: Select and share photos/videos (multi-select supported, up to 10 items)
• Location (GPS): ONLY during active clock-in/out — no continuous tracking, no location history stored
• Notifications: Receive new messages, friend requests, moderation alerts
• Clipboard: The app only WRITES Korean station names to clipboard when you actively tap "Copy". The app does NOT read your clipboard

10. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, the app displays a tracking permission popup on first launch (per Apple Guideline 2.1):

• Allow: You permit personalized ads. the ad network will use the device IDFA
• Ask App Not to Track: Ads still display but are not personalized. You lose no app features
• You can change your decision later at iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Korea Worker

11. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When significant changes occur:

• The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be updated
• An in-app notification will be displayed
• Re-acceptance will be required if changes significantly affect your rights

Korea Worker (Mai Huy Quang이 개발 및 운영)는 귀하의 개인정보 보호에 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 본 문서는 앱 사용 시 개인정보의 수집, 사용, 저장 및 공유 방법을 상세히 설명합니다.

Korea Worker를 사용함으로써 귀하는 본 개인정보처리방침을 읽고 이해했으며 이에 동의함을 확인합니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

1.1 직접 제공하는 정보

• 계정: 이메일, 표시 이름, 프로필 사진 (Google 또는 Apple 로그인)
• 프로필: 한국 거주 지역 (17개 시·도 중 1곳), 선호 언어 (10개 중 1개), 자기소개, 상태
• 급여 및 출퇴근 데이터: 근무 시간, 기본급, 연장근무, 휴일수당 — 계정에 동기화
• 메시지 및 게시물: 17개 지역 커뮤니티 및 1:1 채팅에서 전송한 텍스트, 사진, 동영상, 음성 메시지
• 구인 정보: 제목, 설명, 회사, 급여, 연락처
• 신고: 위반 콘텐츠 신고 시 사유 + 신고 시점의 콘텐츠 스냅샷 저장

1.2 자동 수집 정보

• 위치 (GPS): "출근 / 퇴근" 버튼을 누르는 경우에만 — 근무지 확인 용도. 앱은 위치를 지속적으로 추적하지 않음
• 기기 식별자: Device ID, IDFA (iOS) — 앱 추적 투명성 팝업 동의 후에만 수집 (10항 참고)
• FCM 토큰: 푸시 알림 전송용
• 진단 정보: 앱 충돌 보고서, 네트워크 오류 — 메시지 내용 미포함

2. 정보 사용 방법

• 핵심 기능 제공: 2026년 한국 노동법 기반 급여 계산, GPS 출퇴근, 17개 지역 커뮤니티 채팅, 1:1 메시지, 구인 등록, Excel/PDF 내보내기
• 사용자 인증 및 계정 보안
• 새 메시지, 친구 요청, 관리자 알림에 대한 푸시 알림
• 광고 표시 (Unity LevelPlay) — 추적 거부 가능
• 자동 콘텐츠 모더레이션 (4항 참고)
• 사기, 스캠, 남용 방지

3. 제3자와의 공유

다음 제3자 서비스를 사용합니다:

• Google Firebase: 인증, Firestore(서울), Storage, FCM, Cloud Functions. 정책 보기
• Google Cloud Vision API: 부적절 콘텐츠(누드, 폭력) 자동 감지를 위한 이미지 분석. 정책 보기
• Google Cloud Video Intelligence API: 외설 콘텐츠 감지를 위한 비디오 분석
• Unity LevelPlay (Unity Ads): 앱 내 광고 표시. 정책 보기
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: 사용자 인증
• data.go.kr (공공데이터포털): 열차 시간표 조회 시 선택한 역 코드 + 날짜 전송. 개인정보 미전송

3.1 공식 예매 웹사이트로의 링크

"KORAIL/SRT/Kobus/Bustago/Tmoney 열기"를 누르면 앱이 인앱 WebView 또는 외부 브라우저로 공식 사이트를 엽니다. 앱은 개인정보를 수집하거나 전송하지 않습니다. 해당 사이트에서의 예매 거래는 각 업체의 개인정보처리방침에 따릅니다.

3.2 AI 기능 (Pi 튜터 · 실시간 통화 통역 · 모의고사 채점)

일부 기능은 제3자 AI 서비스를 사용해 처리합니다. 앱은 각 기능에 필요한 내용만 전송합니다:

• Pi 튜터: 입력한 질문과 마이크 버튼을 누르는 동안 녹음된 음성
• 실시간 통화 통역: 통화 중 발화 구간 — 통역을 켠 동안에만
• KIIP/TOPIK 모의고사 채점: 작성한 답안 및 말하기 답변 녹음

전송 대상: OpenAI, L.L.C.(음성 인식·답변 생성·번역)와 Google Cloud Text-to-Speech(번역 음성 합성)입니다. 그 외 제3자에게는 전송하지 않습니다. 두 업체는 당사를 대신한 처리자로서 본 방침과 동등한 보호를 제공하며, API 약관에 따라 해당 내용을 모델 학습에 사용하지 않습니다.

전송하지 않는 것: 전화번호, 이메일, 프로필 사진, 위치, 친구 목록은 AI 제공업체로 전송되지 않습니다. 단, Pi 프로필에 직접 입력한 호칭(이름)과 나이는 Pi가 올바르게 부르도록 질문과 함께 전송됩니다.

사전 동의: AI 기능을 처음 사용하기 전에 무엇을 누구에게 왜 보내는지 설명하는 동의 화면이 표시되며 동의를 요청합니다. 동의하지 않으면 AI 기능만 꺼지고 나머지 기능은 정상적으로 사용할 수 있습니다. 동의는 설정에서 언제든 철회할 수 있습니다.

보관 기간: 통화 자막은 통화 종료 즉시 서버에서 삭제됩니다. Pi 음성 녹음은 기기에 저장되어 30일 후 자동 삭제됩니다. Pi와의 대화 기록은 계정에 보관되며 계정 삭제 시 함께 삭제됩니다.

4. 콘텐츠 모더레이션 (UGC)

Korea Worker는 부적절 콘텐츠와 학대 행위에 대해 무관용(zero-tolerance) 정책을 적용합니다. 다음과 같은 다층 보호를 시행합니다:

4.1 텍스트 필터

• 욕설, 음란, 사기 키워드를 10개 언어에서 자동 필터링: 베트남어, 한국어, 영어, 태국어, 인도네시아어, 필리핀어, 미얀마어, 크메르어, 라오어, 중국어
• 게시 전 300개 이상 키워드 검사
• 노동 사기 패턴 감지: 선입금 요청, 가짜 비자, 신분증/여권 요청

4.2 이미지/동영상 AI 모더레이션

• Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch가 업로드된 모든 이미지를 자동 분석
• Google Cloud Video Intelligence가 업로드된 모든 동영상을 분석
• 사전 동의: 첫 사진 또는 동영상 업로드 전에 무엇을(선택한 파일 자체) 누구에게(Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch 및 Video Intelligence) 왜 보내는지 설명하는 동의 화면이 표시됩니다. 동의하지 않아도 앱과 글 게시는 정상적으로 사용할 수 있으며 사진·동영상 게시만 제한됩니다. 설정 → 개인정보에서 언제든 철회할 수 있습니다.
• POSSIBLE+ 수준의 성인/폭력/외설 콘텐츠는 5-30초 내 자동 삭제
• 위반 콘텐츠 업로더는 자동 정지 (7일 → 14일 → 영구)
• 검수 중에는 다른 사용자에게 "검수 중" 자리표시자가 표시됨

4.3 신고 및 차단

• 모든 게시물, 댓글, 메시지, 이미지/동영상, 프로필에 신고 버튼 — 모더레이션 팀에 직접 전송
• 모든 프로필에 차단 버튼 — 차단 사용자의 모든 콘텐츠가 피드/인박스에서 즉시 사라짐 (1초 이내)

4.4 24시간 처리 약속

• 모더레이션 팀은 신고 접수 후 24시간 이내 검토 및 조치 약속
• 조치: 콘텐츠 삭제, 임시 정지(24시간~7일), 영구 정지
• 30일 내 유효 신고 3건 이상 받은 사용자는 검토를 위해 자동 24시간 정지

5. 사용자 권리

• 접근권: 앱 내(설정 → 프로필)에서 모든 개인 데이터 확인
• 수정권: 프로필, 이름, 프로필 사진, 지역, 언어를 언제든지 수정
• 계정 삭제권: 설정 → 계정 → "계정 삭제". 모든 개인 데이터는 30일 내 영구 삭제. Apple 로그인 사용자의 경우 Apple 신규 가이드라인에 따라 토큰 취소도 수행
• 추적 거부권: ATT 팝업에서 "Ask App Not to Track" 선택 또는 iOS 설정 → 개인정보 보호 → 추적
• 데이터 내보내기 권리: minxukr@gmail.com으로 개인 데이터 내보내기 요청 (30일 내 응답)
• 동의 철회권: 위 이메일로 연락

6. 데이터 보안

• HTTPS / TLS 1.3 전송 암호화
• 엄격한 Firestore 보안 규칙 — 사용자는 본인 데이터만 읽기/쓰기 가능 (관리자 제외)
• Storage 규칙으로 크기 제한 (이미지 10MB, 동영상 50MB, 아바타 5MB) 및 콘텐츠 타입 검증
• API 키는 Bundle ID와 SHA-1 지문으로 제한
• 비밀번호는 서버에 저장되지 않음 (Google/Apple OAuth 사용)
• 저장 데이터는 Google Cloud KMS로 암호화

7. 데이터 보관 및 삭제

• Firestore 데이터는 Google Cloud asia-northeast3 지역(서울, 한국)에 저장
• 이미지/동영상 파일은 Google Cloud Storage us-east1 지역(버지니아, 미국)에 저장 — HTTPS/TLS로 보호됨
• 메시지와 사진은 계정이 활성 상태인 동안 보관
• 계정 삭제 후: 모든 개인 데이터는 30일 내 완전히 삭제
• 신고는 모더레이션을 위해 보관, 90일 후 신고자로부터 익명화

8. 아동 (18세 미만)

Korea Worker는 18세 미만 사용자를 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 앱은 첫 실행 시 18세 이상 확인을 요구하는 Age Gate가 있습니다. 18세 미만이라면 본 앱을 사용하지 마십시오.

18세 미만 아동의 계정이 발견되면 즉시 삭제됩니다. 부모님은 이메일로 자녀의 계정 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.

9. 기기 권한

• 카메라: 프로필 사진 촬영 및 커뮤니티 동영상 촬영. 백그라운드에서 카메라 사용 안 함
• 마이크: 음성 메시지 녹음
• 사진 라이브러리: 사진/동영상 선택 및 공유 (다중 선택, 최대 10개)
• 위치 (GPS): 출퇴근 시에만 — 지속 추적 없음, 위치 이력 저장 없음
• 알림: 새 메시지, 친구 요청, 모더레이션 알림 수신
• 클립보드: "복사" 버튼을 누를 때만 한국어 역 이름을 클립보드에 씁니다. 앱은 클립보드를 읽지 않습니다

10. 앱 추적 투명성 (iOS)

iOS에서는 첫 실행 시 추적 권한 팝업이 표시됩니다 (Apple 가이드라인 2.1에 따름):

• Allow: 맞춤형 광고 허용. 광고 네트워크가 기기 IDFA 사용
• Ask App Not to Track: 광고는 표시되지만 맞춤형이 아님. 앱 기능에는 영향 없음
• 나중에 iPhone 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적 → Korea Worker에서 변경 가능

11. 정책 변경

본 개인정보처리방침은 수시로 업데이트될 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경이 있을 경우:

• 문서 상단의 "최종 업데이트" 날짜 갱신
• 앱 내 알림 표시
• 권리에 중대한 영향을 미치는 변경 시 재동의 요청
